Bon Voyage Poem

The painting on this wall scroll features a man saying goodbye and bon voyage to another man as he leaves on a boat. Included in the characters is a poem about saying farewell and safe travels written by Gao Shi (704 - 765AD) of the Tang Dynasty. It's titled "A Farewell Song For Dongda".

千里黃雲白日曛,
北風吹雁雪紛紛。
莫愁前路無知己,
天下誰人不識君。

The translation:
The sun in dimly white,
the 1000-Li clouds yellow,
The cold wind blows the wild geese in drifting snow.
Don’t worry about any bosom friend ahead of road;
All over the native land,
everyone knows you.

Unfortunately, I don't have any information about the artist who painted this.
