Is the love character shown Chinese or Japanese?

When something says LOVE in Chinese/Japanese - and only shows one picture.
Which is it in?
Please let me know before I order.

Love is written the same way in Chinese and Japanese (as well as old Korean Hanja). It was Chinese first, but then most of the written Chinese language was borrowed into the Japanese written language
(there was no written form of Japanese until this happened in the 5th century).
